Using Google Analytics
Updated: Apr 12
Using google analytics through Wix, you can get detailed reports about your website. There are many features that can be used to get important data about your visitors. In this article I will explain a few features that can be used if you get your website designed through BC Website Design. This guide can also be helpful if you are a customer of BC Website Design as it explains all the necesary features that will be shown in your analytics dashboard.
Per hour, day, week, month & year you can view the total number of visitors your site gets. You can do this for the whole site and each individual page. This can be very handy as (along with bounce rate) you can find out which pages people like the most.
This can tell you how many first-time visitors have visited your site in the selected time period (hour, day, week, month & year). This feature helps you determine how quickly 'the word is being spread' about your business.
The bounce rate appears as a percentage and tells you how long your visitors stay on each page. If the bounce rate is a high percentage, it means visitors are going onto your site / page and then going back off them. If you have a low percentage, great! That means visitors are staying on the page and interacting with it (looking at it, watching videos etc.)
In my opinion these are some of the most important features of visitor statistics but not all of them.
